Longo managed just three wins, four draws and nine defeats at the helm.
“Ciao Toro,” wrote the coach on Instagram.

“It was tough, a struggle, risky, but wonderful to be able to work with you. For me, being a son of the Filadelfia, it was an honour to take you towards safety in such a difficult situation, so full of dangers (including the pandemic), so complicated and never more of a Toro than this situation.
“When you think everything is going wrong, you rely on the tenacity of those who are Granata to the bone and manage to get the job done.
“I owe thanks to the lads, my staff, all those people who worked with me and all the fans who supported and cheered us on from the first day I arrived to the last.
“Goodbye to everyone and Forza Torino.”
The 44-year-old was in the Toro youth academy and started his playing career with the Granata until 1997.
