Samuele Longo has admitted that he is ‘overjoyed’ to be working with Zdenek Zeman at Cagliari.
The Czech Coach was appointed last month as a replacement for Diego Lopez, and the young striker has revealed that the veteran tactician was one of the main reasons for his switch to Sardinia.
“When I heard Cagliari were interested in me I was overjoyed,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“But when I heard of Zeman’s appointment I was even more pleased. This is a great opportunity for me.
“I’m delighted to be here and want to work as hard as possible to be a success here.
“At the moment, the work is really difficult – but we were all prepared for Zeman’s methods.”
