“I thank them for their applause, because it’s not often you see a team applauded by its supporters at the final whistle of a 5-0 home defeat.
“We know that the fixtures are tough, as next up we’ve got Juventus, but we’ve got to give our best and not what we saw after Sampdoria’s second goal. We have to remain in the game and not just give up.”
