Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek believes the Rossoneri ‘deserved three points’ against Newcastle but reassures fans that he didn’t suffer a severe injury: ‘It’s just cramp.’
The English midfielder was subbed off in the second half of Milan’s 0-0 Champions League draw against Newcastle on Tuesday.
Fans feared the ex-Chelsea midfielder had suffered a muscle injury, but RLC reassured them with an Instagram story on Tuesday night.

“I feel ok, just cramp,” wrote the English midfielder, posting a picture of himself sitting on the San Siro turf before being subbed off.
It was not the only Instagram story published by Loftus-Cheek after the game as he added one more where he wrote Milan should have beaten Newcastle.

“We deserved three points tonight,” wrote RLC, who is expected to be available on Saturday when Milan host Hellas Verona at San Siro.
Loftus-Cheek joined Milan from Chelsea for €20m last summer and has two assists in the opening five games with the Rossoneri this season.
