Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli feels he has developed and claims he’s ‘ready’ to play for one of the giants, but won’t rule out a move abroad.
The 23-year-old moved on loan from Milan to the Neroverdi in August 2018 and completed a permanent move for a reported €12.5m in July 2019.
He signed a deal until June 2023 at the Mapei Stadium and has impressed enough to secure a place in Italy CT Roberto Mancini’s squad.

Amid rumours of a move to one of the Serie A giants, Locatelli has vowed he’s prepared for a new challenge.
“I don’t know if this will be my last year here or what the future holds for me,” Locatelli told Il Corriere dello Sport.
“When, and if, there are opportunities, we will evaluate them all together.”
The midfielder won’t rule out the possibility of moving to another League, but stressed he will not be distracted by the reports during the run-in with Sassuolo.
“Playing abroad is an option for me and at the moment I’m not excluding anything,” he continued. “It’s part of my job and it means that I have raised my level.
“Certain certificates of esteem and interest from big clubs increase my motivations and make me understand I’m on the right track."
