Juventus are drawing up the details of a new contract for Manuel Locatelli, who is reportedly ready to put pen to paper.

The Bianconeri have recently agreed a new deal with banned midfielder Nicolo Fagioli, who is set to extend his stay in Turin to June 2028, and they’re continuing to work on shoring up their squad.

Locatelli joined Juventus from Sassuolo on a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy clause attached, which activated this summer. After initially struggling to adapt to Massimiliano Allegri’s system, he’s grown into a core part of the squad in the Piedmont capital.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Locatelli is ready to sign a new contract with Juventus after agreeing to the terms of a deal, which’ll extend his stay until 2028 with an increase to his salary.

The details are now being confirmed and he’s expected to sign in the coming weeks, protecting another of Allegri’s key assets.
