There are doubts surrounding the future of Manuel Locatelli at Juventus and Bournemouth have been linked with a possible move.

The 26-year-old Italian midfielder was not part of Luciano Spalletti’s squad for the recent European Championship, being controversially dropped, and was booed by some Bianconeri fans during the recent in-house friendly against the Next Gen squad.

Locatelli has struggled to truly show his best at Juventus over the last three years, unable to reach his true potential under the defensively minded Massimiliano Allegri. He has scored four goals and provided 13 assists across 132 games for the club.

Locatelli questions

Page two of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how Locatelli has no certainties for his future with Juventus, but could still prove to be a useful figure under Thiago Motta, so hasn’t been transfer listed at this stage.

Bournemouth have been linked with a move for the Italian midfielder but there are no confirmations on this front yet. The arrival of Teun Koopmeiners could also change things, limiting the 26-year-old’s chances.
