“To be here is a dream come true for me,” Locatelli said at a press conference. “Ever since I went to play with my friends in the park, I hoped to one day experience this emotion.”

Locatelli left Milan in August 2018 and says he got his ‘revenge’ at the Mapei Stadium and is proud to be linked with Juventus.

“No regrets, things had to go like this and today I’m satisfied,” he continued. “Sassuolo were a revenge for me, I’m really grateful to them.

“They gave me confidence and helped me grow. As for me, [Juventus coach Andrea] Pirlo is my idol and it’s a dream to be linked with Juventus.

Sandro Tonali seems set to move from Brescia to Milan and Locatelli wishes the young Italy international all the best at San Siro.

“Milan have made their choices; they must be respected,” Locatelli added. “I wish Tonali all the best, if he moves to the Rossoneri, it means he deserves it.”
