Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli explained the two moments at the Bianconeri that ‘gave me goosebumps’ and praised Massimiliano Allegri. ‘He’s an expert and knows how to win’.

Locatelli joined the Old Lady over the summer, but the club has been going through a difficult time in the start of 2021-22.

Allegri’s men have started to turn things around and are currently fifth in the League with a gap of 11 points up to league leaders Milan.

But Juventus have won three matches on the bounce and are preparing to face Venezia away on Saturday.

Locatelli has been a regular in the line-up this season and explained it was a special feeling signing with the club.

“I have experienced two particular moments that gave me goosebumps since I joined Juve,” Locatelli told Serie A’s official channel.

“The first was when I signed the contract and saw the words Juventus Football Club, it was something fantastic.

“The second when I went to the stadium, and I saw my shirt with my number and surname for the first time. It was a great emotion. I took the shirt, I kissed it and I said to myself: ‘Manuel, now you are here and it’s time to play’.”

Locatelli has played 21 times since joining the Bianconeri and has scored twice in the process. He admitted he’s pushing to achieve his individual and the team’s goals.

“Fortunately, I’m a guy who keeps dreaming, also because in our world it’s impossible to stop,” he said. “Also, because in our world it’s impossible to stop.

“I know I have to keep improving, I have individual and collective dreams like winning an important trophy with Juventus.”

Locatelli praised coach Massimiliano Allegri: “He’s an expert and a winner, he has shown on the pitch that he knows how to win and that’s what he teaches us.

“When you arrive at this club, the winning mentality is the first thing you notice and it is what allowed Juve to do something unique, you immediately perceive it, not only among the managers but precisely in the context and throughout the Juve world.”

  1. Loca I hope you’re not running to Pessina’s latest pizza bake out and of course with McKennie’s secret sauce

Guys let’s get serious here, juv is lifting up conte is in england lifting totten, we won the euro, serie a is competitive, now is the time to get serious -this is the window of opportunity

Pls ban all the junk foods to stay sharp, no parties at Dybala’s place, etc and this applies to Mancini too -no fortune cookies from sirigu, campfire songs from insigne,

guys this is a platoon and we ar in the battle to win the games

we the fans eat the funk food and you the players eat the cabbage soup chalk full of zinc

  2. I really like Locatelli, but Barella is way better. Being a converted Inter fan (once of Juve), I see where the success is. I might go back to Juve but they have to start winning again.

  3. Fans of Juve from 1997 when they got beaten in champions league finale with R.Madrid. And when Juve in Serie B 2007 still support them until now. Fino Alla Fine, Forza Juve.

  4. @dangerboy you’re not a fan. Anybody that ever supported Juve and went to inter is no fan. Anybody that comes back is even worse! 🐍

  5. @dangerboy …I dont buy all your I was once a Juve fan then changed to ….etc etc.

I reckon you’re just trying to drum up some Football Italia traffic by winding up fans of the greatest team in Italy. You might also be doing it with articles about the 2nd greatest team AC Milan or 3rd greatest team Napoli or 4th greatest team Roma or 5th greatest team Lazio. Oops did I miss anyone? Who cares, its an opinion.

  6. @JUVEwarrior forget about this guy he must be a young boy who has only ever known us winning for the last decade. True fans stick with the team for better or worse. I have nothing against Inter fans personally but going from one team to another is just sad. What to do with young fans and players now. They just want the quick money and easy success. Forza Juve
