Juventus announce Manuel Locatelli will remain out of action for approximately four weeks following a knee injury.

The Italy international was forced off the pitch during yesterday’s Derby d’Italia against Inter. Massimiliano Allegri claimed the former Sassuolo man had sustained a collateral knee sprain that would keep him on the sidelines for 20 days.

Locatelli underwent medical examinations at the J Medical in the morning and the Old Lady has now released a new medical update about the midfielder.

The Bianconeri have confirmed the nature of the injury but clarified that Locatelli would remain out of action for approximately four weeks. This means that the Italy starlet could potentially return to action for the last three games of the season and the Coppa Italia Final if Juventus qualify.

Locatelli joined Juventus from Sassuolo last summer, completing an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy. The 24-year-old has scored three goals in 40 appearances across all competitions this season.

  1. Get well soon Manuel.
PS : Lutaro Martinez would be definitely sent-off for that TaekWando kick if he were a JUVE player

  2. … and the same goes for Locatelli who was yellow-carded for his kung-fu kick studs up in the stomach of D’ambrosio. Move on..
