Stanislav Lobotka could sign for Napoli within days after Celta Vigo confirmed he asked to be left out because he “wasn’t concentrated.”

The 25-year-old midfielder was originally in the squad to face Osasuna last night, but only took a place in the stands for the match.

“Lobotka told me he wasn’t concentrated for this match and that is why I left him out,” said coach Oscar Garcia.

The 25-year-old midfielder was originally in the squad to face Osasuna last night, but only took a place in the stands for the match.

“Lobotka told me he wasn’t concentrated for this match and that is why I left him out,” said coach Oscar Garcia.

“I need people who are fully focused, so I am glad he was honest with me. I don’t know what his future is and I don’t think he knows either.”

According to Il Mattino newspaper, Lobotka’s agent should be in Rome over the next couple of days to work out the final details with President Aurelio De Laurentiis at his Filmauro offices.

Celta Vigo want at least €22m, whereas Napoli are so far offering a €3m loan with obligation to buy for a further €17m.
