Fernando Llorente warns that Juventus cannot afford to get complacent after extending their lead at the top of Serie A.
The Bianconeri eased past Verona last night, which allowed the champions to go five points clear of nearest rivals Roma who drew at Palermo on Saturday night.
“It was very important for us,” Llorente told Sky of last night’s win.
“Now we’re five points ahead, but there’s a long way to go in the League, because Roma have shown they’re a great team.

“However, we have to concentrate on ourselves and keep going. We have to be at our best, because every game is difficult, and if you let your guard down for even a moment it can be dangerous.
“The Champions League? There are some things we have to improve, like all teams, but I think we’re on the right track.
“I think that when you get to this stage [the Last 16] you’re playing at the highest level.”
