Fernando Llorente is reportedly on the verge of accepting a transfer to Sampdoria after failing to feature for Napoli this season.

The striker had already been approached at the start of this campaign, but the situation has changed and Sportitalia maintain a deal will be struck next week.

Llorente’s contract with Napoli runs to the end of this season and Samp will likely just take on the remaining six months.

The Blucerchiati could also add an option to extend the deal for another year.
