Adem Ljajic said “I hope the fans are happy too” after Inter’s 4-0 flattening of Frosinone to go two points clear.

The Serbia international set up two of the four goals, a remarkable result considering until now the Nerazzurri had got more than one goal per game only once.

“We knew that this would be a difficult match and sides like Frosinone can be the toughest to break down,” Ljajic told Mediaset Premium.

“We gave our all and scored more than one goal, so I hope the fans are happy too.

“I gave an assist to Mauro Icardi and one for Marcelo Brozovic. He’d just come off the bench and I’m happy he scored, as he’s a very good friend of mine.”

Leaders Inter go head-to-head with second-placed Napoli on Monday November 30 and only three points separate the top four teams.
