The newly-promoted outfit released a statement on Tuesday night confirming the signing of the young trio in time for preparations for the new season.
‘Livorno officially announce that they have completed the enrolment for the 2013-14 season of Cristiano Piccini from Fiorentina, Francesco Bardi and Marco Benassi from Inter,” read the club’s official posting on the matter.
Midfielder Benassi [pictured] made his senior debut for the Nerazzurri last season, whilst Bardi had just returned to the Nerazzurri this summer after a loan at Novara for 2012-13.
Young defender Piccini moves to Livorno for a third successive loan spell away from La Viola.
Inter have also confirmed that prior to joining Livorno, Benassi and Bardi have both penned contract extensions through to June 2017.
