According to reports, Roberto Firmino isn’t the only Liverpool player who could move to Italy as a free agent, as Naby Keita was proposed to both Milan and Inter.

The Reds seem to be at the end of an era and are dismantling the squad that won so much under Jurgen Klopp, with several players reaching the end of their contracts.

Centre-forward Firmino has announced he is leaving in the summer as a free agent and Serie A is one of the most likely destinations, with Milan and Juventus particularly alert.

Now Calciomercato.com claim that Guinea international midfielder Keita has been proposed to both Inter and Milan directors by his representatives over the last few days.

Liverpool paid €60m to sign him from RB Leipzig in 2018 and he made 13 competitive appearances this season, but his contract is due to expire in June.

It is reported that Milan were not particularly interested due to Keita’s high salary, but that Inter chief Piero Ausilio is a long-time fan and would be more prepared to discuss it.
