The Reds are prepared to increase their original £8m offer for the creative midfielder.
“Liverpool? I am happy with the request, as it means they appreciate my work,” Coutinho told Sky Sport Italia this week.
“I want to prove my talent here on the field and for now and focused only on recovering from this injury.”
Aston Villa and Southampton have also shown interest in Coutinho.
