According to Sportitalia, Liverpool are ready to let Daniel Sturridge join Inter on loan with option to buy for a total €21m (£18.1m) or less.

The forward is desperate for playing time to ensure his place in the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.

There have been very mixed reports in Italy and England on how much Liverpool want for Sturridge.

It had been suggested they were looking for at least €40m, but Sportitalia claim this evening that the real asking price is half that.
