According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool and Tottenham are keeping a close eye on Domenico Berardi and could soon make an opening bid to sign the Sassuolo star.

Berardi is Italy’s starting right-winger at the Euros. He was involved in all three goals of the Azzurri in their opening game against Turkey and provided an assist for his Sassuolo teammate Manuel Locatelli in the second group stage game against Switzerland.

His contract with Sassuolo expires in 2024 and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, his performances at the European Championships have attracted interest from some top European clubs.

The pink paper reports Leicester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham are keeping a close eye on the 26-year-old, but Sassuolo want at least €50m to sell him.

The report claims Sassuolo haven’t received an official bid yet, but Liverpool and Tottenham could soon put their opening offer on the table trying to secure the services of the attacking winger who was responsible for 17 goals and eight assists in 30 appearances across all competitions at a club level in 2020-21.
