Parma coach Fabio Liverani said the Gialloblu had ‘the right approach’ against Juventus and aims for a ‘valuable result’ against Crotone before the break.
The Crociati sit 15th in Serie A, six points above bottom-placed Crotone and Liverani stressed the importance of the match against one of their rivals in the battle to survive.

The Crociati sit 15th in Serie A, six points above bottom-placed Crotone and Liverani stressed the importance of the match against one of their rivals in the battle to survive.
“It’s definitely a clash with a direct rival,” Liverani said at a press conference. “They see it as a chance to get closer.
“They will experience it as an important direct meeting, and it has a very high value for us too.
“It’s not a decisive challenge given that we are in the first round, but it has a high value, and we want to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat with a great performance.
“It’s the fourth game in nine days, we could hardly analyse the good performances. We focused more on the next opponent, in this case Crotone.”
Liverani wants to see one ‘last push’ before the winter break.
“It’s time to roll up our sleeves, we know,” he said. “It’s the last push, and then the lads will have a deserved break – especially mentally – and return to their families.
“We want a great performance and a positive result.”
Parma lost 4-0 to Juventus last weekend and Liverani said the team entered the match with the ‘right approach’.
“The team, from Genoa and onwards, have never made a mistake in the mental approach,” he said. “Regardless of the result, we had the right approach against Juventus.
“The path taken is the right one, we have to get some results and this game has a very important value before the break."
