The match kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Carlo Castellani in Tuscany.
Roma will be looking to bounce back against Empoli this evening after frustrating losses to Udinese and Ludogorets in their last two outings, whilst the Tuscan side will be hoping to pick up their first win of the season, having drawn four of their opening five fixtures.
A number of players are out with injuries for both teams ahead of tonight’s game – Empoli cannot count on Nicolo Cambiaghi, Mattia Destro, Tommaso Baldanzi and Lorenzo Tonelli, whilst Roma are without Marash Kumbulla, Rick Karsdorp, Nicola Zalewski, Ebrima Darboe, Stephan El Shaarawy and Georginio Wijnaldum.
Last season, Roma won both their meetings with Empoli, picking up a 2-0 victory at home and a 4-2 win away.
