Join us as the 2021-22 Serie A fixture list is drawn up in a new and historic season, as for the first time, the calendar won’t be mirrored precisely in the second half of the campaign.

The ceremony is due to begin at 17.30 UK time (16.30 GMT).

The tournament kicks off on the weekend of August 22 and concludes on May 22, 2022.

There will be five midweek rounds on September 22, October 27, December 1, December 22 and January 6.

International breaks will be taken on September 5, October 10, November 14, January 30 and March 27.

The huge difference for 2021-22 is that for the first time, Serie A will follow the pattern already adopted by the Premier League, Liga and Ligue 1, namely that the fixture list will be asymmetrical.

That means the second half of the season will not just be a mirror of the first half, but rather organised in a completely different order.

It should allow for more leeway when organising games for clubs involved in European competition.
