Join us for the build-up ahead of tonight’s Champions League Final between Inter and Manchester City in Istanbul.

It kicks off at 20:00 GMT+1.

Both coaches can rely on full teams and Simone Inzaghi is expected to start with Marcelo Brozovic and Edin Dzeko leaving Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku on the bench.

This will be Inter’s sixth Champions League Final. They’ve won three, the last time in 2009-10 under José Mourinho. The Nerazzurri have already lifted the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana this season.

Manchester City have been crowned Premier League and FA Cup champions and are favourite in Istanbul but have only played one Champions League Final in history, losing to Chelsea in 2021.

“City are the strongest team in the world, they’ve proved it in the matches they’ve played,” Inzaghi said in his pre-match press conference on Friday

“We are proud to have come this far, we will do everything to play a game of incredible concentration. We will have to limit our mistakes and do our best.”

The Nerazzurri eliminated Porto, Benfica and Milan in the knock-out phase, keeping five clean sheets in six matches. Inzaghi has only lost one of his 20 knock-out games in charge of Inter, against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the Champions League Round of 16 last season.
