Corriere dello Sport reports today that Vice-President Adriano Galliani is pushing for the arrival of former Italy CT and World Cup winner Lippi this summer.

The veteran tactician would reportedly arrive at San Siro in the role of technical director to assist Brocchi in his work and help him with his development.

However, if the former midfielder turns out to be a flop before the end of the campaign, Milan could appoint a new tactician.

Sassuolo’s Eusebio Di Francesco, Sampdoria’s Vincenzo Montella, Fiorentina’s Paulo Sousa, Bologna’s Roberto Donadoni and Sevilla’s Unai Emery are all options, according to the paper.
