Reja and Lotito will hold talks at some stage today to decide on whether to end their relationship, but it seems that the Biancocelesti chief has already been considering replacements.

However, there are conflicting reports as to exactly what Lotito is understood to have offered the out of work Lippi.

Some reports are suggesting that he has been asked to take over immediately, while others are noting that Lippi’s appointment would only arrive in the summer.

The 63-year-old former Napoli, Juventus” data-scaytid=”15″>Juventus and Inter boss hasn’t been in the game since he led Italy’s disastrous 2010 World Cup campaign.

He has admitted recently that he wanted a return to football, but he suggested that he was looking to take charge of an international team rather than a club side.

Lippi last worked in Serie A back in the 2003-04 campaign during a second stint with Juventus.
