Karol Linetty reveals he is looking to emulate Andres Iniesta and Luka Modric after a “dream” start to his Sampdoria career.
Linetty has adapted quickly to life at Sampdoria following his summer arrival from Lech Poznan, the Polish midfielder starting all three of the Blucerchiati’s Serie A matches this season and helping them to two wins and fifth place.
“Until a few months ago, I was in Poland and dreamed of a big League to grow in,” the 21-year-old told Il Secolo XIX.

“Until a few months ago, I was in Poland and dreamed of a big League to grow in,” the 21-year-old told Il Secolo XIX.
“Now, not only am I in Serie A and at a great club like Sampdoria, but I’m playing well. It’s a dream.
“Giampaolo? I feel great [under him]. Even though there’s a language problem with him, he can be understood.
“You can see that he’s a Coach who has clear ideas. My idols as a boy? Henry and Zidane. Today I say they’re Iniesta and Modric.”
