Milan prepare for the opening game with a friendly against Greek giants Panathinaikos in Trieste, and Olivier Giroud starts up front with Ante Rebic.

The French forward must step in to help the Rossoneri in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s absence and the former Chelsea man will get another game before it all kicks off next weekend.

Milan are playing a friendly against Panathinakos at the Nereo Rocco Stadium in Trieste, with Danish centre-back Simon Kjaer confirmed in the starting line-up.

Davide Caldara is the captain of the night, as Alessio Romagnoli is on the bench.

Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao are set to help out Rebic and Giroud up front, with Mike Maignan in goal and Sandro Tonali next to Rade Krunic in the middle.
