The first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 ended 1-1 at Old Trafford, with Kjaer’s late header cancelling out an Amad Diallo opener.

Franck Kessie also had an earlier chest and volley controversially disallowed for handball.

The Rossoneri were missing numerous key players in that game, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Theo Hernandez and Hakan Calhanoglu.

They are back tonight, although Rafael Leao, Ante Rebic, Alessio Romagnoli, Davide Calabria and Mario Mandzukic are out.

Jens Petter Hauge was removed from Milan’s UEFA squad in January to make way for Mandzukic.

That means Ibrahimovic is the only striker in the squad and he is nowhere near fully fit, as he’s been out for two weeks with an adductor strain.

Therefore, winger Castillejo is given his debut as a makeshift False 9.

Diogo Dalot won’t start against his parent club, as instead Pierre Kalulu fills in at right-back.

Manchester United’s injury crisis is beginning to ease too, although Edinson Cavani was initially in the squad and pulled out at the last minute, left behind with Eric Bailly and Anthony Martial.

Compared to the first leg, Rashford, former Juventus midfielder Pogba and Donny van de Beek return, while Dean Henderson retains the gloves despite David de Gea coming back from paternity leave.

However, only Rashford is in the starting XI, as Pogba hasn’t played for six weeks.

As the first leg ended 1-1, Milan have the current advantage on away goals and a 0-0 result would be enough to see them through to the quarter-finals.
