The Rossoneri are just one point behind leaders Juventus and open this Serie A round with the 17.00 UK time kick-off.

The injury list includes Ignazio Abate, Thiago Silva, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Alexandre Pato, Massimo Ambrosini, Pippo Inzaghi, Flavio Roma, Alexander Merkel, Gianluca Zambrotta and Djamel Mesbah.

Robinho partners Zlatan Ibrahimovic with support from Clarence Seedorf, while Mark van Bommel returns from a back injury.

Daniele Bonera is back from suspension to bolster the defence.

Genoa are only two points clear of the relegation zone and the return of Alberto Malesani to the bench has so far not improved their fortunes.

Emiliano Moretti sits out a ban, joined by the injured Kevin Constant, Luca Antonelli and Federico Belluschi.

However, they make numerous changes to the side, starting Ze Eduardo in attack so Alberto Gilardino is rested, and 19-year-old Ghanaian Masahudu Alhassan given his debut in defence.
