The history looks promising, as SPAL have never won a Serie A visit to Inter, managing just two draws in 18 attempts, the most recent in February 1963.
The last SPAL player to score in a Serie A match away to Inter was Fabio Capello in October 1966. The Spallini coach that day was Francesco Petagna, grandfather of current striker Andrea.
Stefano Sensi, Nicolò Barella and Alexis Sanchez are still out of action, with Kwadwo Asamoah only just shaking off a muscular issue after three weeks out.
