Claudio Ranieri tries to get Inter back on track against Catania with Sulley Ali Muntari receiving a rare start.

The Serie A Week 7 fixtures begin at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Massimino in Sicily.

The Nerazzurri hope to recover from their 3-0 home defeat to Napoli, but have a decimated squad for this trip.

Andrea Ranocchia and Joel Obi sit out bans, though Ranieri is on the bench after winning his appeal against a red card for insulting the referee.

On the absentee list are Wesley Sneijder, Diego Forlan, Julio Cesar, Philippe Coutinho, Cristian Chivu, Andrea Poli and Emiliano Viviano.

This gives Ghana midfielder Muntari a very rare start for Inter, as he had been on the market over the summer, supporting strikers Giampaolo Pazzini and Diego Milito.

Catania also have injury issues, as David Suazo, Edgar Alvarez, Alessandro Potenza, Pablo Ledesma and Cristian Llama are out of action.

However, he again leaves Maxi Lopez on the bench in favour of Alejandro Gomez and Gonzalo Bergessio.

Catania: 21 Andujar; 3 Spolli, 6 Legrottaglie, 14 Bellusci; 13 Izco, 4 Almiron, 10 Lodi, 19 Ricchiuti, 33 Capuano; 17 Gomez, 18 Bergessio

Catania bench: 30 Campagnolo, 7 Lanzafame, 11 Lopez, 12 Marchese, 20 Sciacca, 24 Delvecchio, 30 Catellani

Inter: 12 Castellazzi; 13 Maicon, 6 Lucio, 25, Samuel, 55 Nagatomo; 4 Zanetti, 19 Cambiasso, 77 Muntari, 5 Stankovic; 7 Pazzini, 22 Milito
