Napoli are ready to welcome Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jesper Lindstrom, who is currently undergoing his medicals at Villa Stuart.
The 23-year-old Dane arrived in Italy on Monday evening to complete his transfer from the Bundesliga side, moving on a €5m loan deal with a €20m obligation to buy clause attached.
Lindstrom has agreed to a five-year contract with Napoli, worth around €2.3m net per season, adding an exciting reinforcement to Rudi Garcia’s midfield.
As reported by Gennaro Del Vecchio and Gianluca Di Marzio, Lindstrom has started his pre-transfer medicals with Napoli after arriving at Villa Stuart this morning. Once everything has been completed, he’ll put pen to paper on his deal.
The Danish midfielder is a much-anticipated arrival in the Campania capital, being awarded the Rookie of the Season title in the Bundesliga in the 2021-22 campaign.
Last season, Lindstrom scored nine goals and provided four assists in 38 appearances across all competitions for Eintracht.
