LOSC Lille are reportedly in talks with Claudio Ranieri, who could replace Christophe Galtier at the Ligue 1 champions.

Lille are fresh from winning the French League but have parted ways with Galtier and are looking for a new coach this summer.

Tuttomercatoweb claims they are looking for a big name with experience and have entered talks with Ranieri.

The 69-year-old left Sampdoria after 2020-21 and the outlet claims he could be heading to France.

The two parties have not reached any agreements yet, but Ranieri and Lille are both willing to negotiate to find a solution.

Sampdoria finished ninth in Ranieri’s last season in Serie A, but the former Juventus, Inter and Roma coach decided to step down from the position after having met with the patron about the future project.
