Fiorentina's Giuseppe Rossi enjoys wide interest by Liga clubs, including now Villareal, Levante, Getafe, Real Sociedad and Betis.

The striker from New Jersey has been heavily linked to Genoa as he looks for a club that would guarantee him sufficient playing time for a Euro 2016 call-up.

While an interest by Levante had already been reported, the stories are becoming increasingly complex about where Rossi could go and under what conditions.

The striker from New Jersey has been heavily linked to Genoa as he looks for a club that would guarantee him sufficient playing time for a Euro 2016 call-up.

While an interest by Levante had already been reported, the stories are becoming increasingly complex about where Rossi could go and under what conditions.

Levante's initial request for a loan having been declined, Gianluca Di Marzio reports of a second attempt in association with Villareal.

In this deal, Rossi would join Levante until the end of this season, and then move on to Villareal. It is unclear yet whether this would be effected as a genuine sale, which Fiorentina have shown no evidence of approving, or as an intricate loan, in which case the crucial question remains of who would pay Pepito's salary.

At the same time, today's edition of Spanish publication Marca reports of a widening interest in the 28-year-old striker amid the Spanish clubs.

As well as Villareal and Levante, now Real Sociedad, Betis and Getafe are reportedly interested in picking up the player until the end of the season.
