The Swiss full-back scored a wonderful volley to equalise against Borussia Monchengladbach last night, but the Bianconeri could only draw 1-1 after Hernanes’ red card.
“I’m very glad to be back on the pitch,” Lichtsteiner wrote on his official Facebook page.

“Thanks to Paul [Pogba] for that golden pass. Despite my return, an important point and a goal, we can’t be satisfied with this game.”
The Old Lady only need to take a point in the next game against Sevilla to be sure of a place in the Last 16 of the Champions League.
