"We need to make the most of our chances," stated the right-back. "We've yet to score from a set piece and these very situations can be decisive in opening up difficult games like the one we faced in Verona.
"However, I disagree with those who say that we've struggled more against smaller sides.
"Putting aside the first half against Catania, we created many opportunities against both Bologna and Chievo and deserved to win both."
