“It is a great honour to wear this jersey, though it also weighs heavily on the shoulders because you are obliged to win,” wrote the Swiss international.
“Scoring the first goal at the Juventus Stadium is a fond memory, but I’d above all like to remain in the history of Juventus for the victories rather than goals.
“I’d say my best goal was the most recent, in the Italian Super Cup against Lazio. Bayern Munich were the most difficult club to play against because they have such organisation and strong players.
“The dream I haven’t achieved yet is the Champions League. It is everyone’s dream.
“My football idol was Marcos Cafu, as we play in the same position. The toughest opponents I have faced are Cristiano Ronaldo, Franck Ribery and Leo Messi, as in the one-on-one they cause huge problems.”
There were also some amusing moments in the Q&A, as Lichtsteiner was asked who had the better haircut: Arturo Vidal or Pogba?
“I’m going to be democratically Swiss here and say I couldn’t possibly choose! Of my teammates, I hang out most with Pogba and we also speak French.
“What is the best thing to come from Switzerland: Chocolates, Roger Federer or watches? Federer is unique, as he did something incredible and made tennis history.”
Lichtsteiner was also asked to rate Fabio Quagliarella’s appearance on Dancing with the Stars (click here for the Juve striker’s moves).
“Unfortunately I haven’t seen it yet…”
