Liam Gallagher has tipped Italy to win Euro 2020 after their opening 3-0 wins over both Turkey and Switzerland.
The Azzurri have already qualified for the Round of 16 and need at least a point against Wales tomorrow afternoon to secure top spot in Group A.
They are now unbeaten in 29 games, one shy of the all-time record, and are starting to attract attention.
Even former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher is backing Italy to lift the trophy at Wembley next month with former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini in charge.
He was asked by a fan if he thought Germany would win the Euros after today’s 4-2 victory over Portugal.
“Italy I think,” was his response, with a tricolore flag.
The Nazionale have won the Euros only once, in 1968, but did reach the Final in 2000 and 2012.
They have also won the World Cup on four occasions, most recently in 2006.
