Israel Coach Elisha Levy warns they have “prepared to face Italy’s unusual 3-5-2 system” in tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier.

It kicks off in Haifa on Monday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

“Italy have this rather unusual 3-5-2 system, but we made all the necessary preparations to face it,” said Levy in his Press conference.

“We must also be very wary of the set play situations, which cost us two goals against Serbia.”

Like Giampiero Ventura, this is Levy’s first competitive match for his country after losing a friendly 3-1 to Serbia.

Levy was asked if he will adjust the 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 system to go three at the back.

“I am thinking about it and not even I know what role Eran Zahavi will play. The stadium will be packed and the Israeli fans provide the push the team is looking for.”
