According to La Nazione, however, a new player has entered the fray as Fiorentina have supposedly been contacted by Bayer Leverkusen.
The Germans are investigating the player's availability, according to reports, whilst Fiorentina are not willing to see him depart from for less than €6m, regardless of the destination.
