L’Equipe claim that Kvicha Kvaratskhelia has given the all-clear for a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, but Napoli and Antonio Conte do not want to let him leave.

The Georgia international was signed from Dinamo Batumi in 2022 for €13.3m and he proved absolutely pivotal to their Scudetto success.

Despite the team finishing 10th in Serie A this season, Kvaratskhelia still impressed with 11 goals and nine assists in 45 competitive games.

Napoli have persistently postponed discussions for a new contract, so he is still earning just €1.5m per season until June 2027.

Kvaratskhelia pushing for PSG

According to L’Equipe on Friday evening, Kvaratskhelia has told PSG that he wants to make the move this summer.

However, at the same time various reports in Italy indicate that Napoli and new coach Conte want to keep the winger for next season, especially with Victor Osimhen expected to be on his way out.

L’Equipe also note that this is far from a done deal, because while Napoli want €100m, PSG only believe he is worth in the region of €60m.

The Partenopei are facing a lot of problems, as Giovanni Di Lorenzo has also demanded to leave, much to the fury of the club.

  1. Let him in go. In my book he’s turned into a full-on clown. He’s not clinical enough and prefers dancing instead of scoring goals. PSG will would be the right club for him where he can become a full-time dancer. Conte in fact would get sick of this dancing clown rather quickly.
