Leonardo, Paolo Tagliavento, Morgan De Sanctis and Cristian Zaccardo are among those to have completed sporting director courses with the FIGC.

The FIGC confirmed them as four graduates from Coverciano after they passed a course that lasted 144 hours, stretching from September 10 to October 24.

De Sanctis retired from professional football last year to become Roma’s team manager, while Zaccardo left Hamrun Spartans over the summer, having found the Maltese side through LinkedIn.

Leonardo, Paolo Tagliavento, Morgan De Sanctis and Cristian Zaccardo are among those to have completed sporting director courses with the FIGC.

Leonardo is currently Milan’s technical director and Tagliavento stopped refereeing at the end of last season to begin a new career in sporting management.

They were joined by five other ex-players in Roberto Colombo, Rolando Bianchi, Giulio Migliaccio, Alessandro Frara and Gennaro Volpe.
