Leonardo sees Inter as Scudetto contenders, believes Juventus will ‘recover’ and Roma are ‘the best team in the League’.
The Brazilian, who Coached the Nerazzurri and city rivals Milan, gave his thoughts after three rounds of the season in which the Beneamata have taken nine points.
“Inter are always Scudetto contenders,” Leonardo explained, speaking to Corriere dello Sport.
“Maybe they can go through bad times and lose matches, but they’ll always be that [contenders], it’s in their DNA.

“Inter will have to fight to stay up there, but that’s always the case in our League. Inter, Milan and Juve have that [fight] inside them.
“Juve? It’s strange. But they’ve lost some major players, [Andrea] Pirlo, [Carlos] Tevez and [Arturo] Vidal are not just anyone, so it’s normal that it feels different, it’s a different team.
“Juve will recover, and will certainly fight for the Scudetto.
“Could it be Roma’s year? At the moment they seem like the best team in the League. Last year they were playing very well, then they had a difficult spell and eventually recovered.
“The situation remains the same, consistency of performance is essential. At the moment they seem the best to me, but they have to continue like this.”
