Leicester City have decided not to activate their option to buy Cengiz Under after his loan spell, so the Turkey international returns to Roma.
The transfer had been completed at the start of the season, a year-long loan for €3.5m plus option to buy for a further €25m.
However, it became increasingly apparent during the Premier League campaign that the Foxes would not be making the move permanent.
According to Il Tempo newspaper, Leicester officially informed Roma yesterday that they will be sending Cengiz Under back to the Olimpico.
Even the offer of a discount on the transfer was not enough to prompt a rethink.
Cengiz Under scored only two goals this season for Leicester.
