“Napoli are a fantastic team, they have very good players and we can’t wait to get out there and show what we can do,” Rodgers told Sky Sport Italia.
The Foxes boss made more changes than expected to his usual XI, benching Jamie Vardy and Youri Tielemans, while Kelechi Iheanacho starts upfront with support from Patson Daka and Harvey Barnes.
As for Napoli, Lorenzo Insigne has passed a fitness test to start with Victor Osimhen and Chucky Lozano in what appears to be a 4-3-3 formation.
“We expect a tough game, they have good quality, Insigne is a top player, Lozano scored many goals for various clubs, so overall they have a lot of experience and quality.”
The first game in this group has already been played, as Legia Warsaw beat Spartak Moscow 3-1.
