Leicester City have reportedly made a late move to sign Atalanta striker Jeremie Boga.

The Foxes want to sign a new striker and according to Sky Sport Italia, they’ve sounded out Boga’s availability with Atalanta.

The Serie A side will give their response in the coming hours, according to the report.

Boga joined the Nerazzurri only eight months ago from Sassuolo. The 25-year-old played 24 minutes in the first three games of the season with La Dea.

He has scored 18 goals in 114 Serie A appearances with Sassuolo and Atalanta. A versatile striker, Boga can play in many different roles in the attack, from left and right winger to support striker.

Sassuolo had signed him permanently from Chelsea for €10m in the summer of 2018 and then sold him to Atalanta this past January for €22m.

If Boga joins Brendan Rodgers’ side, Leicester could give the green light for Dennis Praet’s return to Torino on loan.
