Although Amauri has struggled to make an impact at the Olimpico in recent seasons, Legrottaglie is adamant that the striker can silence his critics.

Although Amauri has struggled to make an impact at the Olimpico in recent seasons, Legrottaglie is adamant that the striker can silence his critics.
"I hope that Fabio's injury isn't too serious, but I want to compliment Amauri for the hard work he put in," stated Legrottaglie, who scored for the Old Lady on Thursday.
"It's clear that he isn't yet the Amauri that we all know, but once he finds some form then he can be very important for this team."
Amauri has only played in 12 games in all competition so far this term, scoring three goals – even if all of those strikes came in the preliminary rounds of the Europa League during the summer.
