Antonio Conte is legendary for his punishing training sessions and the Napoli players were left collapsed to the ground in agony, with Victor Osimhen and Cyril Ngonge faring worse than others.

The coach is notorious for pushing his squad hard, especially in pre-season, with the likes of Giorgio Chiellini revealing players were left doubled over and nauseous by the strain.

He started pre-season training with Napoli today and the effects were evident, as at the end of the session, players were scattered around on the turf.

Winger Ngonge looked in worse state than anyone, but the most damage might’ve been done to Osimhen.

The Nigeria international centre-forward left the field with a large strapping and ice pack on his ankle.

At least Conte seemed aware of the strain that he put his players through after two hours, going around to thank each player individually for their efforts as they lay on the ground.

Conte wrecks Napoli players

  1. Its rather hard to believe that the method he uses would be beneficial overall but i suppose his work ethic will hopefully produce results in the upcoming season.

  2. Mark my word. Napoli will definitely be in top 4, this season. Meanwhile, Milan have high risk of dropping out of top 4 (if Atalanta continues their performance). I don’t think Roma and Lazio will make it as usual.
If anyone who can make average players pulling above their weight, it is Conte.
