Lega Serie A has officially announced the dates and times of the first four matchdays of the 2023-24 season.

The upcoming campaign kicks off on August 19 and comes to a close on May 24 2024, returning to a regular schedule following the mid-season break for the World Cup in the 2022-23 season.

Serie A has already unveiled the full fixture list for the 2023-24 season but did not specify any dates or times, simply showing all the matchday assignments.

The new season will kick off on August 19 at 17.30 UK time, when newly promoted Frosinone take on defending champions Napoli and a plucky Empoli take on a Hellas Verona side who almost suffered relegation last term.

Inter’s first match of the season, against Monza, kicks off at 19.45 UK time the same day. On August 20, Roma’s campaign starts with a match against Salernitana at 17.30 before Lazio take on Lecce and Juventus travel to Udinese for the evening matches. Milan close out the final matchday, facing Bologna at 19.45 on August 21.
