Roc Nation Sports International have announced they signed a strategic partnership with the Lega Serie A to ‘further enhance the North American reach’ of the sport, but also boosts Romelu Lukaku’s hopes of remaining at Inter.

It was rumoured a few weeks ago that Roc Nation Sports were opening a new office in Milan and it had been assumed that was connected to Lukaku’s presence at Inter, seeing as he is one of their biggest soccer clients.

However, it emerged today that the agency has agreed a ‘strategic partnership’ with the Lega Serie A that will increase ‘awareness for the Serie A brand in the United States by enhancing engagement of existing and new fans through digital content, marketing activations, and events.’

President of Roc Nation Sports International Michael Yormark explained the reasoning behind this partnership.

“We are super excited to help Serie A expand its brand throughout America, while helping to develop meaningful commercial partnerships along with enhanced brand visibility that will lead to continued growth for one of the world’s premier football leagues.

“Serie A’s New York office is off to a terrific start and we look forward to helping them achieve all their business goals and objectives.”

Italian football is making more inroads with American audiences, as seen also by Paramount+ acting as shirt sponsors for Inter during the Champions League Final against Manchester City.
